Defoamers, accelerators, retarders, shrinkage reducing agents (SRA), air entrainers
PERMAKEM AS can offer defoamers based on mixtures of organophosphates and glycol ethers, polymer mixtures of fatty alcohols and esters, mixtures of PAG and surface active substances, and mixtures of polyether polyol amorphous silica. Depending on the defoamer chosen, the benefits are control of foam formation, increased flow properties, increased alkalistability and improved structure in mortars and concrete. The defoamers are intended for use in various applications of mortar and concrete. PERMAKEN AS can offer defoamers in both solution and powder form.
PERMAKEM AS can offer accelerators to the mortar and concrete industry. These products offer accelerated setting times and higher early strength in cement-based products. It also gives increased bindingproperties and durability including water stop and quick hardening mortar/concrete effects. It also gives hardening characteristics at low temperatures and very high early strength. It is used where fast setting time is needed such as for repair and water stop mortars, 3D printing and post fixes.
PERMAKEM AS can offer retarders used in concrete and mortar to achieve controlled setting delay, to achieve longer processing time, avoid cracks in concrete, achieve higher density and compressive strength, increase hardening after the start of setting, reduce shrinkage and to give slightly plasticizing properties to the concrete.
PERMAKEM AS can offer expansive additives which form stable crystalline structure in the cement matrix. This results in a durable shrinkage reduction. The additive reduces shrinkage, heat of hydration and may increase strength of the cement.
PERMAKEM AS can offer air entrainers for the mortar and concreate industry. These additives consist of surface-active substances and /or wetting agents. Air entrainers helps wetting of substrate, provide fine stable air pores, give better workability, reduce cracking and shrinkage, give better plaster yield, decrease wear of mixing units, decrease lumping and provide frost resistance. Air entraining agents are mainly used in concrete, repair mortars and grouts.
